[AD 17] sd-model: fitting MSD & PSD

Using the program dmsd.cpp and Carina's averaged data for the two groups of trajectories with low and high b values, a fit was attempted. The kurtosis was not considered.

Results for the low b group:

sigN2=1.2e-4;
beta=1.5;
lambda=0.05;
w1=145.0e-3;

Results for the high b group:

sigN2=0.6e-4;
beta=1.8;
lambda=0.35;
w1=20.0e-3;

With the above fit parameters, the simulated step width distribtions, evaluated for the smallest time intervall, look for the two groups as follows:

The SWDs are affected by the parameters lambda and w1 (for the continuous Poisson process) and by sigN2 (for the Gaussian background noise). The tails seem to be dominated by the Poisson process and are close to exponential.
